Growing Quality Produce In All Four Seasons

About Bankson Lake Farm

A person carrying harvest totes

Bankson Lake Farm was established in 2017, and now has 3 acres in production on our 13 acre property. Using organic practices, non-GMO seeds, and only a walk-behind tractor, we grow a variety of annual and perennial fruits and vegetables, herbs, and flowers to feed our local community.

Whether you’re a local or just in town for the weekend, we are happy to stock both your fridge and pantry with highly nutritious, local farm goods.

Meet Your Farmer

Bankson Lake Farm is owned and operated by Dan Owens, a former human resources worker who left the corporate world to spend more time being outdoors, and doing work he loves.

He purchased the farm before ever setting foot on the land, moved back to Michigan from California, and started building his dream farm! Now, he’s focused on producing the highest quality produce and specialty goods as possible to support his community through food.
